Headcanons

My headcanon on him is very specific. I will tweak it around when I’m not so lazy.

The way I play him is sweet. He has a split personality and, to his dismay, remembers most of the wrongs it did during its control. I call him Soviet.

General

Russians are a people with very good work ethic and as well as determined. They will work until the job is done. They are also persistent. For example, if I Russian asks you to dinner and you say no, they may continue to ask every once in a while. Almost like no isn’t a good answer.

Ivan is like that. Persistent, determined, and not to mention he’s durable.

My Ivan is not a mindless killing machine. He is approachable and kind until you rub him the wrong way. He is also not slutty. The only time he is easy to get in bed is when he’s in a certain mood when drunk and he’ll usually bottom even if it means he’s bottoming from the top. If he’s with you, he will typically battle for dominance if he’s sober.

Ivan likes ballet~

Ivan is one of the most loyal people out there. He will never do anything behind his lover’s back.

Russia is extremely self conscious of his weight.

From childhood, he’s been pretty fucked with the Tartar’s Yoke and shit. There’s a story that the first actual Tsar of Russia and his wife couldn’t have children, so he locked her in a dungeon and remarried. The Jewish people around put a curse on them that said their rivers would run with blood and all this disastrous stuff would happen.

So ever since childhood, his mentality has been utterly cracked. He’s never /ever/ been quite mentally stable. When he grew up, he was still working with a pretty bad crack in his mind but then Bloody Sunday cracked much deeper because he was forced to shoot his people. His ‘children’ who were ‘misbehaving’. Then he had to shoo the Romanovs, including the 4 children, one of which was incredibly young and sickly. That’s when he got a severe case of multiple personality disorder and ‘soviet’ came out during the union.

He spent years trying to get back out and he came back out after 69 years of being locked inside his own mind. Soviet had been weak and alone, as everyone he even gave a damn about was gone. Now Russia is taking the wrap for what soviet did. He himself just wants love and affection for the lack that he’s received in his many years of life, but doubts he’ll ever get it.

Sidenote: Rasputin was not a ‘love machine’, actually~ He was very close to the children and he was somewhat of a holy man to them. He helped take care of the children.
How Rasputin actually died.

Ivan

He’s not malicious or horrible. All he wants is friends. He’s had a difficult time making them since he lost control of his mind. Don’t take it the wrong way. Ivan isn’t a complete pushover, though if he were to be separate from the Soviet, he’d be much more likely to allow you to walk on him. He can get angry and blind raged at that. If his emotions get out of control, such as too angry or in utter despair, Soviet takes control again until Ivan can manage to take it back.

He has trouble figuring out how to make up for his other half’s past wrongs but will try almost anything.

He is easily depressed when he dwells on his past and will cause himself bodily harm. He also has caused himself bodily harm to get control over Soviet during the years of the Federation. He is also obnoxiously self conscious about his weight and especially the small amount of chub on his stomach.

Soviet

Out of the two, Soviet is the rapetruck, ruthless horrible being that everyone makes Ivan out to be. He will kill, torture, rape, and what have you without remorse. He has an aversion to pain. During his rule over the shared body, he handled it better. He was also more subdued, thinking he had all the time in the world. But nowadays when he gets control, he’s not sure how long he has before he loses control so he doesn’t bother wasting his time.

Relationships

America- Relations had been violently shaky since the Cold War but have greatly improved. Currently, he is in a happy relationship with Alfred, though it’s still a delicate situation (so he thinks).

England- Ivan and Arthur had a long while of mutual dislike, though it was a pretty peaceful time of it, but now they seem to (somewhat, though mostly one sided) get along. Most likely to Arthur’s dismay, Ivan has made it a habit of coming over and staying the night. Every. Thursday.

MORE WILL BE ADDED. I’M JUST LAZY.
